The integrated solar panel and rechargeable battery allow the player to be used in remote areas where power may be intermittent or unavailable. Users can also charge via USB, then rely on solar to maintain charge during daily use.
Never lose your place
Automatic bookmarking saves the current Publication and position whenever playback is paused or the device is turned off. A sleep timer (15, 30, or 60 minutes) lets listeners fall asleep to audio.
Simple bookshelf navigation
Content is organised into Publications (books, magazines, or folders) and Sections (chapters / audio tracks). Users can quickly jump backward or forward by Section during playback.
How Vine C1 works
Load your content
Connect the Vine C1 to a computer using the included USB to micro-USB cable. Use BookSync, DAISY Pipeline, or your preferred file-copy tool to load audio files or DAISY books into the device's internal memory or a microSD card.
Choose a Publication
When powered on, the C1 previews the first or last-played Publication by playing the first file or up to 10 seconds. In Pause Mode, the Bookshelf button lets you preview the current Publication; pressing it again previews the next.
Play and navigate
Press the Power/Play/Pause button to start playback from the beginning or the last saved bookmark. Use the left/right navigation buttons to jump between Sections, or press and hold for time-jumping within a Section.
